R.I.P.

Zombie (aka Zombers, Princess, & Zombelina)  1994-2008

 zombiebasket

She was tiny, bright-eyed, and could cuddle longer than any cat I know.  She loved her purple velvet pillow, and sitting in laps.  She purred like a motor boat stuck on high.  And she was oh so tiny.

She passed away peacefully at the vets office in the arms of the two people who cared for her most.

We'll miss you Zombie, you'll always have a special spot on our laps.

I will miss her snotty sneezes. She was a good kitty, and lucked out with some awesome parents.

I was inspired yesterday to write a haiku about Ms. Z, but it didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to. Your post was much more eloquent and appropriate. Hope you're both holding up okay ....

Oh zombie, how could someone so little have such a big heart. I have no words... just a sad cup of java and my memories of a coffee colored cat. Better times to both of you.

What a horrible loss of such an adorable cat! I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

My heart goes out to you. Your pictures of Zombie are so beautiful and she sounds like she was an extra-special furry friend.
